Once you’ve finished your “Learn to Nordic Walk” course and been awarded your Freedom Passport, you may start thinking about acquiring your own poles so that you can walk on your own, or to use between regular classes. You can find out more about what to look out for when buying nordic walking poles here, or feel free to speak to one of the NWEK instructors, who will be very happy to give you some advice – poles are relatively expensive, so you don’t want to make a mistake in your choice!
We’ve listed a selection of poles and accessories available from our favourite pole provider, Nordic Walking UK, who as the UK’s largest stockists carry the full range of Leki and Gabel nordic poles and are generally cheaper than everyone (they sell on Amazon, trading as Exercise Anywhere). If you’ve completed one of our courses and signed up for Nordic Walking UK membership, you can also use your Freedom Passport to redeem your 10% discount on NWUK products, making the cost even cheaper!
